Bartlett Cove Campground
Glacier Bay is open all year round. Typical visitor season is May, June, July, August, and September.

Bartlett Cove is Glacier Bay's only campground. It is walk-in only. There are also no facilities for RV's. Camping is free but campers must attend a 30 minute orientation for rules and safety. Campers are allowed no more than 14 days on the campground. Group camping is permitted for groups of 12 people or more.

Glacier Bay's Gustavus Inn is another option. A 1 to 2 night stay is $450 for adults and $225.50 for children. A 2 to 3 night stay is $675 for adults and 337.50 for children. WIFI is also offered in the inn. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
On this map there is the Bartlett Lake and River trail, the Forest Loop Trail, and the Beach trail.
Bartlett Lake trail runs about 8 miles. It would usually take someone 7 to 8 hours to finish the trail. Bartlett lack trail actually branches off of Bartlett River Trail.This trail is not as maintained as the other trails are so be careful not to wander off trail and get lost.
Bartlett River trail runs about 4 miles and would take about 4 to 5 hours. Forest Loop Trail runs about a mile and would only take about 1. 5 hours to complete. Watch for wildlife, including coyotes, moose, and river otters along the beaches shore. This trail takes you through the spruce and hemlock forest. lots of birds cluster in this trail during migration.
Forest Loop Trail runs about 1 mile and only takes about 1.5 hours to complete. This trail will pass through both rainforest and beach. Rangers do lead guided tours at about 2:30 in the afternoon everyday. The trail varies with gravel, dirt, and boardwalk, so bring some sturdy shoes.
The Beach Trail runs about a mile and takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete. This trail takes you along the beach's shoreline. Low tide brings in a variety of sea life, so walk carefully! Ask a tour guide about tides and when the best time is to see them.
Glacier Bay lodge is located on the bay of Bartlett Cove and is open from mid May to early September. It offers rooms, a restaurant, a great view, a daily tour boat, sales on fuel, and guided kayaking and hiking.
