One of Glacier Bay's many landforms is beaches. Although there aren't specific names to them, There is 1100 miles of coastline. But beware of bears!

Glacier Bay is famous for its magnificent glaciers. There are many glaciers in the park, but 11 reach close to the shore and are easy to see. The ice on the front of the glacier can be anywhere from 75 to 200 years old.
There are many snowcapped mountains in Glacier Bay, and rivers, such as the Bartlett River. Many tide water glaciers, which is a glacier that "sheds" its ice, and can be very dangerous. Most tide water glaciers make a huge boom or crash when they shed, so keep you and possibly your boat away!
